Terms of Service

By accessing or using Krato (including the mobile application, web dashboard, and browser extension, collectively "the Service"), provided by Krato Desk ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, or use the Service.

Krato is a cross-platform personal productivity and information management tool. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

To use certain features, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental consent.

You retain all intellectual property rights over the data, text, links, and content you upload, store, or process within Krato ("User Content"). We claim no ownership over your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to host, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you (e.g., syncing data via Supabase cloud infrastructure).

• Tier Structure: Access to premium features ("Krato Pro") requires a paid subscription.
• Payment Processing: Digital purchases and subscriptions are processed and managed via the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and billing policies.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds: All purchases are final. Refunds for partial subscription periods are managed strictly according to Apple/Google platform store policies.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Store or transmit any content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates third-party intellectual property rights.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Disrupt, interfere with, or abuse the cloud infrastructure, databases, or API servers hosting the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KRATO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL KRATO DESK, ITS AFFILIATES, OR PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction of Krato Desk's incorporation, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
